SHORT INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS:
- Author can choose to work with Word or LaTeX. You can find the most recent template at the links above. Please ignore the names of any mentioned series in the template– the organisers will specify which book series the book is going to be published on the conference page – it may be a series that is not mentioned in that document).
-
- Please note: The usage of these templates is not mandatory. Alternatively, you may either use a blank Word document or the standard LaTeX book class (for monographs) or article class (for individual contributions) and apply the default settings and styles (e.g., for heading styles, lists, footnotes, etc.).
- Please prepare the chapter in one-column format.
- Please add under the title the authors’ names, institution, country, city, and country (no street or any other address part – neither a complete private address – should be added there, as this will show up on our webpage). Please check the sample paper in the LaTeX and word package at the links above.
- Each chapter should begin with an abstract that summarises its content in no more than 200 words. The abstract will appear online at SpringerLink and be available with unrestricted access to facilitate online searching, using e.g. Google, and allow unregistered users to read the abstract as a teaser for the complete chapter.
- For authors working with Word: please avoid inserting equations as graphic files. Use the Math function of Word 2003 or 2007, MathType or Microsoft Equation Editor to create your equations.
- Please include all affiliations and e-mail addresses (or at least the email address of the corresponding author) in the chapter you submit to the book editors. The e-mail addresses will be used by SpringerNature to provide authors with a personal account where they can download a free copy of the eBook upon publication
- Permissions for any material authors want to reuse from previous publication should be obtained by the corresponding publisher they want to reuse. Usually, authors can GET PERMISSION online by using RightsLink http://www.copyright.com/publishers/rightslink-scientific/. In rare cases, they need to contact the publisher directly. Moreover, Springer is a STM signatory publisher. If authors wish to reuse materials published by another signatory publisher, they can check the corresponding guideline for permission at https://www.stm-assoc.org/intellectual-property/permissions/permissions-guidelines/
- Springer self-archiving policy for non-open access book and chapters can be found at https://www.springernature.com/gp/open-research/policies/book-policies . If this book is NOT an open access one, please check the policies for self-archiving of books and chapters published via the subscription route. Archiving of pre-print on a recognized server, up to one chapter per volume from the same author, is allowed for proceedings.
